The Wally Shop
The Wally Shop is changing up the grocery game with package-free deliveries that come straight to your door.
I worked with TWS to created a custom hand-lettered logotype that looked approachable and friendly, and (most importantly) would stand out in a world of all-caps, sans-serif sameness.
Fun fact: The name "The Wally Shop" was inspired by a cooperative of individuals from India called the dabbawala. Dubbed the world’s “best food delivery system”, they visit suburbs to pick up worker’s freshly made lunch tiffins—usually prepared by a wife—and deliver them to their respective husbands working in the city. After lunch, the tiffins are collected and returned.
What I Did:
The dotted details in the logotype take inspiration from the tiffins, which are circular in shape.
